Being a scientist at Clifford Primary School
At Clifford, pupils have a positive attitude towards science. Science is taught through practical activities and investigations, as well as independent research.
Wherever possible, we make use of real resources and the natural world around us. Lessons are taught in and out of the classroom, including the use of forest school to enhance the learning.
We encourage pupils to be curious and ask questions about what they notice.
Science week is participated each year by every class.
Working walls are used to support the children’s learning.
